At IMSA, character education is an important part of every student’s growth and development. Through classroom lessons, school-wide expectations, assemblies, and daily interactions, students learn the values and habits needed to become responsible, respectful, and successful individuals.
Throughout the year, students participate in character education classes and activities that focus on a variety of topics, including respect, responsibility, honesty, perseverance, kindness, leadership, gratitude, and many others. Students are encouraged to practice these qualities both in school and in their everyday lives.
Each month, students explore new character education themes through lessons, discussions, and activities. During assemblies, selected students have the opportunity to write and present reflections on character education topics, helping to strengthen their understanding while inspiring their peers.
This page features our collection of Character Education flyers and resources, highlighting important character traits and providing practical examples of how students can demonstrate these values at school, at home, and in their communities.
